The cab is one that I created with Titania’s guidance. She said squares are difficult and she was right. The stone is crooked but I thought I could compensate with a little adjusting and bending. I was going for a frame with a Victorian look as that is what the stone reminds me of. I know it's not great but it is one of my firsts where I can say I found it, slabbed it, cabbed it and wrapped it. As always, thanks for looking

A result this great from rock to bling just has to give one a warm feeling of accomplishment. The tutelage from Titania was right on for you to obtain the high polish on your cab, you are both an inspiration to all.

Thanks woody, Tatania was so patient with me and as a result, I learned a lot.
Cul-Ann thank you, the wire is 22 gauge square dead soft. I like it because the 20 gauge seems to over power the stone and 24 gauge would be too small and less sturdy for this type of wrap

Great job. Squares can be a bit of a pain to wrap.

Thanks guys/gals There are a few/lots of member who take rocks and bring em all the way to wrapped beauties. I love every single aspect of each step from hounding - wrapping. Try pushing it around a little more. I see some room in there to take some of the unsquare out. Nice Job. Jim Jim, can I do that now since it is finished? when I was wrapping it every time I got the sides tight, more gap would show on the bottom. lol

Lori, ain't it great to make a piece of jewelry completely? The cab is beautiful and the wrap very nice, way better than any wrap I ever did.

It is a great feeling taking it from rock to something someone will want to wear (hopefully). Now to create a wrap, like someone I know (ahum, ahum) which prompts another member to create a tool so that created wrap can be made easier. Now that is what I call someone inspiring another member to stretch his talents!

Hey, I remember that stone! You did a great job on the wrap, Lori! I totally see an antique Victorian picture frame.
