I received an email from a jeweler who is looking for a specific item, and I just don't have the right inventory in stock to help her out. Here is what she said in her email:
"I am searching for a round (disk) gray agate 50 to 60 mm in size with a thickness of 6 mm or more. Would you by chance have a piece like this? It does not have to be solid grey, but can have some pattern in it."
If anyone wants to try to help out this jeweler and has something that they think they can use to fill the order, please email me using the email address on my profile. I will forward your reply to the jeweler and the two of you can take it from there.
I hope someone can help her and make a little side money. Thanks.

Vance, I may have some material that'll work. It's not agate, though, as you can't see through it. It's a pretty light-to-medium grey, lightly patterned, and I'm guessing 5-7 Mohs. I have LOTS of it, full rocks.

Hmmm, thanks Michaeljohn... but I think she might be set on agate since that is what the customer specifies. I think 5 - 7 on the moh's scale might be a bit to soft. Thanks for offering to help, though.
