Here are a few new ones I just finished. Sorry for the lint and cat hair...a stubborn cat hair keeps showing up in the photos! #1 - Chryscolla from Jamie: #2 - More Chryscolla from Jamie: #3 - Brazilian nodule from Jack: Side view of the cute orbs #4 - Mozarkite: #5 - Unknown - onyx maybe? It's pretty soft. #6 - Pet Wood: #7 - Pet Wood - This one's really cool...while the fracture in the center is completely healed over, you can actually see crystals lining the fracture if you get it in the light just right. #8 - Red moss Without flash: With flash: #9 - Thunder egg from Mel: #10 - Unknown - My first attempt at drilling: #11 - Another unknown: #12 - And yet another Unknown: That's it for now...got to get back to work now! ;D

What some fantastic Cabs Titania! Those are definitely 'brag' worthy. A couple of my favs are the Brazilian and for sure that wild Pet Wood! Thanks for sharing. I love those sharp pointy shapes. Steve

Great group! I like the last one, and the first one, Mel's egg, but mainly the wood! That is a nice one for sure! Tony

The chrysicolla and Red Moss is beautiful! Great job with the drilling, did you have to touch up polish the hole after? I do love looking at your cabs and know just how much more there is to come after seeing what goodies you have.

That red moss is stunning in person...so much going on in the stone that my poor photos just don't capture well. The flash photos really kill the depth that the stone has. The drilling actually worked quite well. I drilled the hole after I had the preform and 60 grit wheel work done, but before I started the polishing process. I didn't have to do anything to it. The hole came out nice and clean, and just polished right along with the surface of the cab. Thanks for all of the great comments, guys!

Wowser Nicole, those are some fantastic cabs. I love the healed pet wood. So how did you like drilling. I gave that a try once but gave up after a couple of tries. To slow for my short attention span.

To slow for my short attention span. The drilling wasn't as bad as I expected. I didn' have much luck figuring out how to hold the cab, so I just held it by hand...worked fine. I used a round-end diamond bit, which was easy to locate into the hole once it was started. I have a couple of small diamond hole saws that I will try next time. I think they may clear material better.

Great set. I love the second pet wood, it looks like it's folding in on itself.
