I bought a kit and tried this out - I've never worked with copper, it's very shiny (at first) - I made this on my lunch hour (I actually had time to eat AND start a pair of earrings for the kids' teachers too) The kit came with both copper and aluminum rings, made my daughter an aluminum one (once she learned that it would change color she opted for the shiny aluminum) It,s called sweet pea - very easy to do and it wears well, mine hasn't started changing colors yet Here,s a close up Thanks for looking

That turned out great! I have a chain that my husband got for me in Egypt about 20 years ago that is similar looking...I guess I need to dig that out. I haven't seen it in years. I would think that this style could also have a wrapped cab in the center. Thanks for sharing! Fran

That's a nice weave, Tweety! I can't believe how fast you turn things out though. It took me almost a week to make a bracelet for my sister...

Tweetiepie, that is a great bracelet. You must have incredible patience to work all those rings. I'd get fouled up with which one should link to which. lol. I wonder if there is a coating you can put on it to keep it from changing color.
Thanks for sharing

Thanks for sharing Actually I had a really good pattern to follow - really easy once you know where to stick that linking ring. As for a coating, someone said to dip it in lemon juice or vinegar or a nice tumble in dry rice... or walnut shells (I have old dry rice)
