Hello, everyone! These week-end days I had time to do those two groove wraps. The one in the left is a pet wood picked from Lesbos Island in our first vacation there (2007 summer). The other one is a blue lace from StoneAgeIndustries. Front: Sides: Back: That piece of pet wood is very special, as it comes from a small island very close to the main island, where we were not able any more to reach this summer. That small island is literally littered with pet wood chunks, but being a reservation you can hardly find a fisherman to lead you there. Thanks for looking, Adrian

I love the lace but that Pet wood is beautiful. It must have been torture knowing what is out there and not being able to get to it.

Thank you both! Lori, it was a torture indeed! Swimming from the mainland to that small island (a quarter of a mile or so) also went through my mind, but I was thinking at my way back, loaded with "balast" and I quit Roxy, that shape was "demanded" by that pet wood, which wasn't a classic slab but only a chunk. So this is a sort of self-shaped cab. Adrian

Thank you everyone! Tony, soon I'd have to break the ice if I'd want to swim here! Adrian

If you go there again, bring scuba diving equipment, A bouey, some rope and small holed netting with you. and, um, shark repellant just in case. That'll get you to the island and back loaded with treasures and you wont need a boat.
