Here's something different. I'm starting to feel a little more comfortable with my wire wrapping abilities again, I finished this one last night. It's gold filler square wire like the last two, I'm happier with how this one turned out. BTW- all cabbing is done by me as well. ;D .....

That is Sooooooo cool! You did a superb job of blending dramatic with simplicity. It is really an amazing work of art. Are you willing to show the back side?

Here ya go, the back looks alot like the front, the two biggest differences are that the back of the cab is flat, and also here you can see the binding wraps that hold the sides of the heart in place......

Man Biker, talk about a one of a kind.. I'm not one that likes the big poofy things around the cabs.. but gotta be honest.. the simple lines make for a more classy look..

Thanks for the back pic. The Gold showcases the stone really well.

Now that is Cool with a capital C! What a great idea. Randy you have got it going I don't know what your problem is with your binding wraps, but you've mentioned it a couple of times... so I refer you to NancyF's amazing wonder hint that saved my tail. She said to cross the wrap slightly as you come over so when you press the wire down with the pliers you "click" the binding wire down on the previous wrap. If you are using square or half round, you can actually hear the click... and it worked like a charm for me. Got tight bindings with some practice, and I don't have to obcess over it quite as much. I got to leave binding wraps finally and start on messing up my bails instead Nice work! Tony

I really like this one - you did a great job, so glad you're wrapping again. My only concern may be the straight wire at the bottom, should someone be wearing it and bend their neck down, would it not stab them? That sounds like something I'd do "Hey Boss I gotta go home cuz I stabbed myself with my pendant!" Yeah that's me all right! PS Thanks for showing the back - you get bonus points!

Very cool Randy... I always like your style of wrapping... it's like wire sculpture to me. Great job on the cab as well! Good to see you wrapping again.

Great design. I don't know how you dream up these things. I had the same thought as tweetie about the part sticking out the bottom.

That stone and wrap are just beautiful! I really like the design and feel it sets that stone off instead of swallowing it up. Great job! Fran

Thanks ya'll! I'm still dreaming up ideas for the next one, I've got one idea that I'm hoping will top anything that I've done so far. (You'll have to wait and see) lol

If BikerRandy is concerned about the straight part, maybe he could make a small, tight curl toward the front and still keep the straight effect.
Very nice work! I like how it embellishes the stone without covering it.
