I sat down and did a wrap this week. I just couldn't get the top area to work for me so I think I will have to redo sooner or later. I think the copper looked fairly good with this moss. Excuse the lint. didn't notice it until I looked at the picture. I really need to get some silver and gold soon. The craft wire in those colors are just not the greatest sometimes and only in round. Very nice, and yes....you need to get silver and gold. You'll never go back to copper. (I never did) Your binding wraps look great!

I think you did an awesome job! The copper goes great with the stone - you might find that it's much easier to wrap square wire - be in copper, silver or gold - they tend to be more cooperative
I want to try copper wire soon too! (I only have round wire - so you may hear me yell from across the border!) Great job (I agree with Randy about the bindings- sweet!)

That is a sweat little wrap. The bindings are nice and neat. Go for the gold and silver you'll love working with it.

I would say Copper was a perfect choice for that stone, you did a good job on it. I work with copper, silver and gold fill wire, I even use a combination of wires just depends on what the stone wants. As for the top instead of redoing it you could take some soft fabric and gently pull out the coilsand redo the loose ends. Tami

Wow, the copper looks good with the cab, and I think you did a great job, very pretty.

Very nice wrap. I've done a couple wraps in copper and find it to be really soft, much more than dead soft sterling. I struggle a bit with square wire, it always seems to twist on me. Can't wait to see what you can do with it.

Beautiful wrap, I agree it's time to step to silver and maybe more. That Stone Canyon slab in the background is also a beauty, get it cabbed!
