I finished this last night and wanted to share. The first pic is the creature ready to get its "horn" When I started the screw gun, I realized that there was too much power and the twists were actuall tightening up the whole wrap so I stopped and finished it with my hand tool. back side The horn was created because I had two wires that I did not know what to do with. I did not want them wrapped around the stone or around the back. After twisting up the wire, I had to do a lot of filing to make sure there were no burrs at the end. I know its ok when I poke myself and don't bleed ;D Thanks for looking.

Well that is a clever little thing you did there, it is neat! Looks like a unicorn to me.

Thanks Amber. It looks like that to me also. I swear sometimes the stone and the wire have a mind of their own.

Tony, the stone is Bronzite and one of the prettiest bronzites I have ever seen. Jamie invited me to do some wraps that she would include in a show coming up. She said she loves my wraps but I think she got wind that I need money. lol. Any way, she sent me cabs and that's what I'm doing right now.
I have friends that I let pick out cabs for themselves, waiting to be wrapped, from what I have received by you and other members so as soon as the show is done, I will be posting your beauties all wrapped up.
I love wrapping and giving them to friends and family but I am thankful for the opportunity that Jamie has offered as it will help to keep my wire stock filled. A friend of mine is hosting a home party so that will help with the buying of Christmas presents.
ha, a very simple question. bet ya would'nt have asked if you knew a book was coming. lol.
Thank you Adrian for the complement.

The creativity is sure jumping around here. I'm just trying to get a conventional bail figured out and you folks are just going nuts with yours This has given me some interesting ideas to try down the line. Good luck with the shows, Lori! Tony

Thanks Tony. I got to tell you, I always struggle when I get to the bail part of the wrap.

Lori that's OK I can be a bit long winded myself sometimes. I just got a slab of bronzite so now I'm anxious to cab it. Oh so many rocks and so little time. lol
