Nice day for taking pics and it's a bit to cool to work in the yard so I got into my slab trays to take a few. Just a little eye candy for all you agate fanciers. thanks for looking....Mel Condor Agate Upper left is the only bright lemon yellow one I've ever cut: Just a few less fancy Laguna Agates: My favorite variety of Mexican Crazy lace is Laguna Lace but this is a close second, Cactus Lace. The cactus are supposedly the little brown sagenite- like formations: Luna Agate. This is actually very purple but my camera doesn't like to read purple. Lunas are often plagued by the brown stuff in this slab too. This piece looked fantastic on the outside but kinda sucked inside. Finally, black and gold plume form northern Mexico. Was sold to me as Night and Day plume but it usually is nodular and looks more like Marfa Plume to me.

You can post all those 'south of the border' slabs you want Mel! I'd never get tired of looking at those AGATES! Love the condors, and first time I've heard of the cactus (variety) crazy lace. Steve

Those first agate pictures are something, what a rainbow. I fancy crazy lace myself, so I really like that cactus lace, nice stuff you got there.
