Here's a couple back to back slabs off a boulder I found with Mr & Mrs Banjo Creek a couple weeks ago on the Verde River. They're pretty big slabs, here's a close up of an area of one of them And a couple more. The one on the right was from initially cutting a couple slabs one way so that it would fit in the vice the way I wanted it to. Thanks for lookin!

What a beauty the first photo looks like a butterfly, its shape and the colors. I love the pastel hues.

What a beauty the first photo looks like a butterfly, its shape and the colors. I love the pastel hues. I agree, it's a butterfly there! Polish those slabs and then make a long slim cab (the butterfly's body) and place it between those slabs. That will make a gorgeous butterfly Adrian

Thanks everyone! The further I get into the rock the cooler it's looking, though a fracture showed up. In fact last night the slab I was cutting broke off and jammed between what was still being cut and the back center of the blade. I was right there and shut it down when I heard the drop and the saw bog down, took some prying to get the damn thing out Hey Jamie that sound like fun! Maybe something mid December? Man that's just a couple weeks away, time's flying! Yeah we're still working on the house, finishing up plumbing so we can move on to drywall soon. Coming up on a year since we started, whew!

Those are fantastic! I would cab the last two, but polish the first two and display them; they're just too amazing to cut IMO.
