Well back in September I gave Bejewelme a labradorite cab for her birthday and told her I would wrap it. It took my until Thanksgiving to finally get it done. Sorry the photo is blurry. I had some difficulty in getting the bottom of the wire to conform to the shape of the stone. After an hour of fiddling I finally said "close enough" and moved on.

I love this piece because it is big, and he really did a nice job with it! I ordered a large silver labordorite ring to wear with it, now if I just had earrings, hint hint hint. Man there is nothing better than a man that can make his woman jewelry. That must be why he is never in the doghouse. We just celebrated our 6 month anniversary yesterday. Yeah!!! I hope we have many more. Amber

It looks like a heart! Very nice and I know how stubborn the wires can be when it comes to stay close to the stone. This was one of the reasons I quit the classic wrapping style.

Lovely wrap Tony! That's a fine way to pay tribute to a glorious stone. I really must have a go at wrapping soon, I guess I've got no excuse not to HE he he! Fine work, and a really lovely finished piece, thanks for sharing! Cheers, Sparkles.

That is really, really sweat. I absolutely love the heart at the top and the binding on the bail looks great. Beautifully done as it completely shows the stone. The flash in the stone is great and I bet it is incredable in person. Congats you two on the 1/2 yr aniversary Two of the nicest people I have yet to meet

Very nice wrap, Tony! Nothing like handmade gifts, especially from a rockhound!! Congrats on the 1/2 anniversery. ;D Same as me and my bf - now if I can only turn him into a rockhound....

Thanks all. Dee I didn't do anything to turn bejewelme into a rockhound. She just evolved that way herself. lol
