Hi, everyone! I made three grove wraps. The one in the left is a local stone, whose natural shape lead me to this weird edged dome. I give credit to 58vette for this sort of dome, he posted a while ago a cab in this style. The one in the midle is Antigorite that I have from Karen - Karenfh but comes from Jim - Rockitman. Thank you both, this material has such diverse colors and patterns, the hardness also varies. I chose a chunk having medium hardness and still it polished pretty well. The third one is Montana agate that I have from Brian - beef. This material is amazing, it's the first time when I work it and it was a pleasure. Thank you Brian! Here are the pics: This is not a scratch, it's a crack Thanks for looking, Adrian

The montana is my favorite, those always polish up so beautifully! that shine is killer!
Looks like a gliding bird and a set of black lips underneath - cool!

Adrian: I always think I am not so crazy about pet wood, until I see your cabs, the stuff I have seen in Tony's piles are boring looking. I like the one in the middle that is pretty neat and the montana is wonderful!! It is always sort of redundant posting about your cabs, because they always blow me away, and there are never enough good adjectives. Sprechen sie deutch? I could resort to German?? My name for you is the "Groove Master," do you shake your booty while you groove? Amber

I LOVE this batch Adrian! I was thinking about flattening some wire and making a wider groove, to look like a setting around the edge of the stone. Do you think that would work?

Thanks again. Thom, your idea is great, especially for the thicker cabs on which one could be made a wider groove.

Adrian, That is really a cool looking cab, even though it does have a crack. The antigorite has a lot going on in its pattern but that montana really takes the cake! Beautiful! Fran
