I would think that this counts as home made equipment!!! I had gotten one of those cheep tumblers off ebay. Have 1st load inside and going for 11 days and it stoped tumbling. Jim looked it over and found the belt broken. Not having a replacement he looked around and found one of my hair ponnytail holders and used that===it's working;-)))

Try Lortone belts as a replacement. I used a Chicago Electric tumbler (often on eBay cheep) for about a week before the belt broke. I replaced it with a Lortone belt and have not had to replace it yet (6 months). I did however have to replace the motor after a few months. I used Lortone parts for that also.
