I just finished this one about fifteen minutes ago. I forgot to mention, all of these are going from the Genie straight to the wire. Basically, I look at my slab stash, and decide what I want to wrap, cut it and cab it! This one was a little bigger but I accidently dropped it and took a small chunk out of the edge. I'm glad that I did, because the re-grind ended up a perfect size..... These next two pics I'm posting for Nancy....sorry darlin, I've been slipping lately.... This is the back of the Marra Mamba that I wrapped this morning...

Thanks Randy you're the best! See this is why I like seeing the backs, I never know what to do with those extra wires, mine always end up "tied" to the back and I don't like always doing that - this idea is fabulous! And I really like the swoop at the bottom - must try that! Did I mention that purple is my favorite color? how soft is your lepidolite? yours doesn't look anywhere near the gumdroppy texture mine had - I like yours much better PS: how on earth did you manage to get the tiger eye out of your wrap without taking it apart? I still think you're a wrapping machine!

The cab popped right out the back after I moved the upper supporting wires out of the way. The lepidolite in this wrap is soft, it came from an 8 pund chunk that I got from Kim. I have three different types, the darkest is the hardest.

You created your own style in no-time! Those elegant large curves have already the "Randy" trademark on them. Beautiful pendant.

I love the flow of the wire! Very unique...women must flock to your pendants...

Damn, I thought they were flocking to "me", it was the pendants? ;D One small note: I don't know if this helps or not... where the swirl comes down, I bend those wires one at a time, not all together. After I do this, they still require a little tweaking but not too much. I tweak them, add a binding wrap in the back, and then tweak some more. Then I add the binding at the bottom, and tweak even more. It's really easy, I just take my time. Also, I found that I do better in the morning with these. At night, it seems like I'm less patient for some reason. (maybe because I hear my ol lady climbing in bed and I think I have a chance with her) ;D lol .......I should have just stared another wrap

LOL Guess your gonna have to buy her jewelry and not give her this ' homemade' stuff! Some women are funny like that, they don't consider "do ya wanna" to be foreplay... go figure... LOL My wife puts on $3000 worth of Opal but remembers what it looked like when it was a rock. ACK! (but she won't give it back ) Dr Joe .

Thanks y'all!! Tony- I just had to get my confidence back. I did a bunch of them about three years ago, then I stopped all together. Three years ago I was "ok", but now I feel like I know what I'm doing. As for baggin the ol lady, I still haven't figured out that one. ;D

Thanks bud! I was doing these about three years ago but sorta lost interest. (I wasn't all that good) Studying other people's work helped me the most, mainly Banjocreek.
