Here are some friends for Fonzi from feeding time this evening. Hope these pics are sized right. My new camera is really complicated and does not like taking small pics so I had to copy the to photobucket and try to reduce them in size....Mel First pic is some of out turkeys happy to have made it through Thanksgiving and stopping by ole Mels' for a snack. Then our dominant male Blackbuck. Nobody messes with this guy at feeding time. Those horns are nasty. Even the big Whitetail bucks give him a wide berth.

Spike's a beauty! Tonja (tigger) has one too named Elvis. Say, maybe Elvis'll chime in on this thread! Here's a few more, some dolphins Christa and I spotted at the beach at Oceanside last Thanksgiving And some 'sky rats' as Fishenman said hanging out there. They waited until we went down to the water and raided our stash, shredding our Doritos all over the place And a couple shots from the yard last June as the sun was fixin' to set. California was on fire at the time and the western sky was kinda eerie Dang Mel that blackbuck looks pretty mean! That can't be native to Texas, is it?

Dang Brian! California's always on fire isn't it ? Yep, Blackbuck are native to India where they're relatively endangered. In Texas, they're all over the place. Must be several hundred here on the ranch along with other exotics and natives....Mel

Well, we can't let Fonzie stay bored! Hmmm, I only have one picture that I think would interest him. The preying mantis was my buddy in the flower garden this summer. I would go out and weed and he would turn his little head and stare at me...He was pretty big but I am bigger. When I was having too many insects, I would give him a little pep talk about cleaning it up. Seemed to work. Fran

Tell Fonzy that if he's hungry, I think I know where he might find some tent caterpillars to eat.... Vance
