The latest in the slab bucket saga continues, this post is in 2 parts because I couldn't fit them all on the table Part 1 group shot, this one has some Chuck agate, some banded agate (some kind of Brazilian or something of the sort), and some green jasper as of yet unknown. A couple closeups of some of Hard Rock Cafe's agate closeups of a big banded agate I cut for Jon, another friend Some green jasper I have not figured out the name of yet, I have a bunch of this stuff Part 2 group shot, this one includes pink jasper, graveyard plume, Montanas, and some more holy crap rock Some graveyard, I am really starting to like this stuff. (I did start cutting one across the plumes instead of with the plumes, it came out awesome, but that will be in the next bucket post) Some pink jasper Some Montana's Holy Crap rock another holy crap rock that had almost no holy in it Thanks for lookin.......................Tony

Those slabs are looking good Tony. I spent quite a bit of time working on my saw this week and wanted to do some cutting today but didn't get to it. See these wonderful slabs make me jealous. Oh well, maybe tomorrow I will get some cutting done.

The Montanas are my favorites among these slabs, then come the green jasper and those two square slabs on the top of the 2nd group shot.
Adrian
PS. As for the name of the green jasper, how about "Stormy Sky Pictural" ? If you turn upside down the slab in the bottom of the 8th pic, that's what I see. The hills are still sunny, but the sky is really frightening.

Thanks for posting Tony! The suspense was killing me. It looks like there might be some redeeming areas after all.
There's a lot of nice stuff in that bucket!

I got my box of rocks from Tony today. Woohoo! ;D He sent me a few bonus samples from this bucket and a few other choice pieces in addition to my Piece of Crap rock. Thank you Tony!!!! I'll be able to use the Piece of Crap rock as learning material for cabbing. Fortunately, it appears to be relatively solid with few fractures. Who knows, I might get something good out of it yet. It's kind of odd stuff, because the color blends slowly from one to the next, rather than being well defined like I'm accustomed to seeing. Thank you again Tony! Chuck
