Bejewelme took over my cabbing machine on saturday so I went and played with my saw for several hours. I had a back ache when I was done, I can't stand up in my basement because the ceiling is to low for me, but had lots of fun anyway. Here is the full load. And some highlights. Picasso marble from Utah. Rainbow fluorite. Some pretty onyx from NMonyx. I cut with the pattern rather than across it, hence no layered lines like you usually see onyx. This is the other side of the same piece. Sold to me as imperial jasper from Utah. I got this from Jamie, I think its birds eye rhyolite. Some opal (I think) from Utah. Dendritic bruneau jasper from Builtonrock. Thanks John. Tree bark rhyolite from Utah. An unknown from Utah. I saved the best for last. Texaswoody's ghost wood. Thanks Curt.

Nice mix. I've not seen Bruneau with dendrites before, pretty cool.

Hmm, sounds like you need a rolling bar stool so you don't have to attempt to stand up while slabbing in your basement. just a thought. I think we are going to have some really nice eye candy in our future, once you get to making cabs with this material. I am looking forward to it! Fran

Curt, isn't digital photography grand. I have no idea how the pic got the green hue. Bejewelme, of course you will. You might even be able to talk me into giving you a piece to cab. You managed to talk Curt out of it after all. Fran, you are assuming I actually have some forethought before I do anything. ;D
