My recent work. Opal (Serbia). Jet (thanks to John) Dendritic opal set (Serbia, Zlatibor Mt.). Ring, earrings along with pendant that I posted earlier make this set. This Black Jade and Ruby ring is also part of the set I posted earlier. This is my last faceted stone (posted earlier to) - Smokey Quartz. Cabochon is Opal from Madagascar. Very nice but very tricky to cut. Jet, again. Shoomadia Orbicular Jasper. Picture Jasper from Divcibare. I am thinking of calling this jasper - Tometino Picture Jasper since Tometino is the name of the field where it is found. Turquoise and Malachite pendant. OK, I played a bit more then usual. ;D Lapis and Malachite. Again. Garnet. Amethyst (Malawi). Australian opal (doublet) and Azurite (Serbia) pendant. This one my wife kidnapped. Jet again. This was a present for a colleague of mine for finishing her dissertation. The dissertation was from the field of investigation and exploration of coal. I thought that Jet would be the most appropriate gift. Thanks for looking. Zoran

OUTSTANDING WORK Z! ;D You seriously do some amazing work...and you are quite the artisan. I tried to pick out a favorite..but found it impossible. I really like that Madagascar Opal, like the color. I LOVE the Picture Jasper. It looks like it could be related to Morrisonite. I would love some slabs of that if you ever want to sell some. I don't blame your wife for hijacking that Opal/Azurite pendant..that ranks as one of my favs. I love the bandings in the Azurite. Very Nice stuff Z! Thanks for posting. Steve

AHHHHHHHHHHHH those are breathtaking - that serbian Azurite is my favorite - I can see why ti dissappeared but I really like the Picture Jasper from Divcibare and the jet set with the "happy face" reflection - I'm blown away by your work - the material is awesome too!

They are all outstanding, but I have to pick that Jet set. I love the setting, the stones - AMAZING artisanship on all of them.
But yeah, that orbicular Azurite is breathtaking.

Love them all, but especially the first lapis and malachite combo.
I'm wondering what sort of ransom I could get if I kidnapped your wife - just kidding, really!
Thanks for the gift of these pictures. Your work is a joy to see.

Zoran, your palette is so diverse! I think there is no kind of jewel that you cannot make. I don't blame your wife for stealing that blue beautiful pendant, you might help her steal some ear-rings that match the pendant ;D The faceted smokey quartz & Madagascar opal is a work of art, too. It's not only beautiful but also shows the diversity of your skills. The triangular cab is perfectly framed and a silversmithing master told me the pointy cabs are the most difficult to frame And even when you play, you make stunning work! Are you sure you did not dig that turquoise and malachite from an Aztec king's tomb? Adrian

OMG, Jewel heaven--I hope I end up there!!!!! Your wife's pick is definately my fav, but that first opal ring just looks elegant, and the black jade and ruby ring, wow, I love rings.

Have been missing seeing your work. Excellent excellent work both on the cabs and the silver work, you are truly an artist. I love your designs. Do you do the faceting too?
