Hi! ;D I just set and epoxy'd more than 200 bell caps. My fingers are sore from attaching all the jump rings. Here's a pic.....

Wow, Nice batch! I am hoping to do some pendants soon, as I am not set up for cabbing and would like to turn some of my tumbles into something more useful.

Luckily you know how to do that without gluing your fingers together, like me . Those look great!

Which epoxy are you using?

I use the Hughes 330. I like it because it set faster than the 220, and just as strong, if not stronger.

Randy, are you using your fingers to open & close the jumprings? Use two pairs of pliers (I know you have lots of those) you must open them side to side - check out urbanmaille.com for instructions - I'm up to over 1000 rings opened & closed Beautiful pendants - I like it when you post stuff when the board's slow!

I use two pair of pliers as well. The jump rings that I use now are thick, so my fingers just can't open them anymore. Yep, side to side, just give'm a twist and stick'm through the hole.

200? lol, I have more than 1,000 of them so far. They sell really fast at the local craft shows, and I wasn't ready for the last three so this time I'm gonna be ready. I'm gonna do at least three more batches before spring time. ;D

I have over 300 ready for the craft show season and another 200 - 300 in progress.
I never thought I'd be a craft show kinda guy, but a friend convinced me to bring my stuff and hang with her at a couple shows and I had so much fun I'm starting to take it more seriously. I really enjoy talking with folks both ones that know rocks and ones that don't. Frequently the people watching can be a lot of fun too!
