My only Specimen...and it's not going nowhere! ;D This was found by my Brother's in-laws quite a few years ago. He has other really good pieces...but this one is the only one I've been able to twist his arm for. ;D Few new pics taken outside today! Steve

Stunning Jaspagate Steve, what a cracking specimen! The red looks reall bright, and has an almost spotted appearance. I believe this is often the case in fine Agates, and the spots in there must be huge! Excellent specimen Steve, I can see why your holding on to it ;D Cheers, Sparkles.

That just took my breath away. You should have a WARNING : HEART STOPPER" sign at the top. I don't think red can get any redder. Your brother is a generous soul to give that up. It must run in the family

Wow that is one sweet piece of wood. It's so red and the banding make it look like an agate till you see the side of it.

Steve:
That is the kind of specimen everyone dreams of having. The only thing that would be better is if you had found it yourself.

Thanks you guys! Charley...I would love to find something like this..but the area these are found have really been picked out. My brother and I went down last year and hiked and searched...but didn't come up with anything . At least not like this! I definitely want to go down again and spend a few days just hiking all over. Maybe I'll stumble onto some good Yellow Cat!
