My blade wobbles a bit, can I still do grooves? With the wobble I may have to use 5 gauge wire!

Oh Wow!!! I love seeing bright and beautiful Agates, and those are superb! What's even nicer is that you grooved 'em! ;D They are truly magnificent Fairburned, I'm guessing they are Fairburn Agates? Self Picked? Incredible! ;D Thanks for giving us such a show, they really rock Mate! I'm a total fan of the grooves, and yours are absolutely bang on! ;D Tweet.. I'm afraid I cut mine with a side on drum style blade, so I can't vouch for the larger type, I guess the grooves may be quite wide, and possibly prone to "wandering", but an experiment seems to be required before I'd commit any "choice" rough. Have fun, get in the groove and your away!! ;D Cheers, Sparkles.

you did a great job on those and I really like the contrast the black wire gives against the cabs.

Man, those are beautiful! Perfect for grooving because the stones need to show without any extras! Tony

You made a beautiful groovy work, Fairburned! And what eye-catching stones did you use! they came out fantastic pendants! What's the black wire you are using on some of them? Adrian

The black wire is like 20g bead wire, you can NOT grind it the black comes off.but for little marks I use a black marker to cover them..........Roger

Really nice. I think someone did a tutorial on here or somewhere about putting the grooves in stones. Anyone remember where that is? My daughter is wanting to learn wrapping and I thought I might also groove some cabs for her.

Gosh I loved those agates in the last post, but now I love them even more!!! That black wire is cool, especially for a man. I know Tony is always debating what bail works for dudes that does not look too feminine, these could be either, very cool. I like the black on black for a man.
