Hi folks
If I may, I would like to make a suggestion. Let's please leave this category for special specimens that we have no intention of using for lapidary. There is already a category for slabs and other specimens that will be used as lapidary materials.
Thank you so much!
Curt

Shall we include mineral specimens and crystals as well?

Any specimens ... pieces that are spectacular or unusual which are strictly for display.

Keep in mind that some people actually do keep slabs as display specimens. I believe that Daniel has a big collection, I have a few myself.

Of course Randy! I have a small collection myself. I would just like to see this area reserved for non lapidary. Collections, minerals, wood, you name it. Curt By non lapidary, I meant stuff that will not be cut up and used for jewelry and what not. Of course this is everyone's board and I ain't a cop .
