Made this one for my bosses mom. I figured Green Zebra would be appropriate for her because she is from India, same as the stone. Green Zebra Agate in gold filled. Thanks for lookin. Dan

Ooooh, I love your crosses! Those curves around the "X" of the cross look great and I can't believe how even they are. Awesome wrap. Beautiful stone, too!

Nice job Dan,
That's a fine looking cross and an interesting material, lovely shine as always. You got those wraps well sorted, that's very neat and tidy work. Thanks for showing it to us.
Cheers,
Sparkles.

I haven't seen and green zebra agate on here in at least two years, it's my all-time favorite stone. Beautiful job on the cross and the wire

That is a lovely cross and you accentuated it with a very nice wrap. They really compliment each other! I still can't get over how you made that cross...WOW! Fran

Very beautiful, how do you make the cross, I have been wanting Tony to make me one, do you need a dremel or hand tool? Amber

Thanks all... I hope she likes it...
Randy - I bought some GZA from Astro Gallery soon after you started posting pictures of it. The purchase was an FRB of fist sized chunks and was a mix of the green w/white stripes and a few chunks that had yellow, green, red, tan and purple all mixed together. That stuff was nice and solid... almost no variation in hardness and took a great polish. Since then I've bought more from different places but it's no where near as nice as that first box I got.... wish I could find more of the good stuff...

I can't find any more of the good stuff either. I purchase 3 FRB's from them, cut some up and gave some away. I should have bought 10 of those boxes.

Nice cabwork on that green zebra agate. The wrapping is just too great, also.

That is some serious bending on the binding wraps to keep them so close together! Very nice work. Tony

That is a beautiful cross cab and the wrapping is wonderful. Your wire wrapping accents the stone perfectly.

That's a fine piece of work, both stone and wire! Too bad the material is no longer available with that kind of quality. How do you get those inside corners polished - tumbler, small wheels, or? I have made some (leaf-shaped) cabs with small, inside corners and had to use my dremel tools to finish them because my regular wheels won't reach. It took forever!

Awesome cross! Good thing my sister won't ever see anyone wearing it or she would probably rip it off their neck! llana
