Cleaned out the slab bucket tonight, got some of that Arizona stuff cut up, also some Idontknowite that I bought a big pile of. Any help on ID's would be appreciated. The first batch Some cool stuff we collected with Rodney and Jamie, this is what Chris made her first cabs out of Some Chrysicolla that we collected with Rodney and Jamie I forgot what this is called, but it came from Rodney and Jamies yard. Hopefully one of them can tell us what this is, some very cool stuff!! I just bought a huge pile of this stuff, the closest I can figure is some kind of Owyhee jasper, but exact location I am not sure of. Some of it is good and hard and some of it is not as hard, kind of Owyhee hardness, if you know what I mean. Cool colors though. RSJ on the right, Pietersite on the left I cut a fist sized chunk of Arizona wood, after it got done breaking into little pieces these 2 are the only useable pieces I have left Part 2 This came out of the Utah pile, I have no idea what it is, but it caught my eye and I brought it home to slab up. Very hard, almost porcelain hard. Burro Creek nodule Another Burro Creek nodule I will keep cutting, I know Randy is getting bored...........Tony

What a great post! Very amazing slabs. I really like that top Idon'tknowite, the wavy one. It looks like some really cool cabs will be made from it.
Thanks for sharing.

Catman: The chrysacolla is cool with the red cuprite in it, the wavy stuff from Jamie is really cool looking! Also more pietersite??? Yeah!!!! The Owyhee like stuff looks cool, beautiful colors. The stuff you collected that Chris used to cab, made a really nice cab. I like when you see it in slab form and then can go and look at it shined up! Nice stuff you guys found! Amber

Beautiful slabs, Tony! The wavy rock and the RSJ are my favorites amongst this batch.

I suspect the "IDontKnowite" to be Morrisonite? Definitely does look like an Owyhee jasper, the brighter blues is what leads me to Morrisonite.
