I like the black center stuff. About 20% of the wood I have found around Estevan is like that. It takes a real nice shine when you cab it. It tends to be softer than the other stuff though. You will have to get out your cabber and do some up.

That rock and the slabs look great. I see some awesome scenes for cabs in the slab to the right. Is the black area of the slab different hardness from the area closer to the edge?
