I put the new Hotdog blade on the 10 inch saw, hooked the water up and started cutting. I really like this saw!! And to think that it only cost me a wire wrap. Anyhow, the stones that I cut today are from Jamie(Desertdweller) and Jo (naturenut)..... Here's a group that I cut from my Jamie stash.... Owyhee jasper, I love these patterns!!..... Anyone?? lol... Idontknowites from Jamie.... This next stuff is local finds from Jo (Naturenut).... This piece here is the most incredible green!! .... Had to get a closer shot.... Here's some citrine that Jo sent as well, this rock is clean!! As always, I owe a world of gratitude to Jamie and Jo, as well as a ton of other members who keep this hobby alive for all of us!!

Dang! Nice stuff. I have some chunks of Owyhee that I havent cut yet (let me know if you want any). That idontknowite is crazy pretty....looks kinda like wonderstone but with more color. How hard is it? I really like Jo's local stuff. Hmmmm, maybe Jo will want to do some trading Congrats on the new saw!

I would be willing to bet that Jo would love doing some trading. We've sent stuff back and forth. The wonderstone-looking stuff is harder than wonderstone. When you tap the two slabs together, they don't make that dead sound that you get with the wonderstone.

Randy, Those are some sweet slabs. Love that Owyhee and it polishes up like a dream. I'm guessing Nevada Rhyolite for the banded purplish one. I have a slba of that same type stuff and it looks very similar. Steve

That Owihee is really stunning and that unknown is almost as same as beautiful. Great patterns!

You got that up and going really quick. Those slabs are just beautiful. Man I have to get me one of those. I bet that first cut slab was sweet, especially if the rock it came from was just sitting and waiting for a 10" saw.

Wow, I love the gem Owyhee. I'm like craning my neck around to see all the cool landscapes you could create with those. I'm envisioning lightning strikes on rock formations...

I really like the Idontknowite. I could have some fun cutting a rock or two of that. I love a rock with a lot going on in it.
The colors are different that a lot of rocks you see.

Randy: Nice rocks I like the ryolite, I am guessing that is what it is, but it is very colorful and pretty. The Owyee is really cool! And you know PA is just rock central!!! Jo has that rock magnet that loads them in her backpack!!! Great deal on the saw as well!!! Couldn't go to a nicer guy who will really use and appreciate it! Amber
