While my young friend Ben and his dad were going crazy on my grinder I decided to cut a few slabs on the Workforce. Here is some of the rocks I got in a FRB from Michael John. The purple is beautiful and will be the next rock I cab. The chrysocolla is really nice too. Roan leopard marble from my favorite ebay seller in Utah. I have quite a bit of this if any one is interested in a trade let me know. I will be putting together a variety of stuff from this guy and offering a FRB for trade in the next few weeks. Here is more material from the Utah guy. A piece of wonderstone and a couple of agates. I got this off of ebay also but from a different seller. Its supposed to be fairburn agate. It doesn't look like the other that I have but it is darn hard.

Oooh! I am so looking forward to cutting some of the stuff I have! I still have the stuff Jo sent me along with the stuff I just got from MJ, and after seeing that top picture, I can't wait! That bottom picture sure gives the impression of wood without being wood doesn't it? Fran

Those last slabs look like Polish flint. And Polish flint is indeed very hard.

Well, you slabbing while they are cabbing, means they are flying solo. WTG.
Those are really pretty slabs and I have never seen Roan Leopard Marble before those look like they are going to make cool looking cabs.

PS-Tony, how did the fingers hold up? Or are you able to slab during the winter as long as you are indoors?

Wow Tony! Those are super slabs Sir! I love the marble too, that's a really lovely pattern and colour pallet, nice job on the workforce too, you slab a neat rock Mate! ;D Sounds like you got Ben running on "Auto-pilot" now! ;D He's a "dab hand" as they say. I agree Free4rms, that does look just like Polish Striped Flint. Should take a keen polish, flint can be seriously hard! Nice stripes though! Thanks for sharing your results, slabbing is great fun, although I'm hoping for warmer weather soon! Cheers, Sparkles.
