Howdy folks, I have a pretty large collection of artifacts I've picked up in my wanderings hunting rocks ( private property with permission of course) and of course, most of what you find is broken. So, sometimes to amuse myself, I kinda fudge artifacts out of the old broken pieces. Some are just worn so I resharpen them just as the Amerinds did. I've actually found paleo points that were picked up by more modern natives and resharpened for use in their time. Anyway, always seemed a shame to me to throw away a pretty fair specimen and when I give them to kids, they don't care. Besides, I'm, like an eighth Amerind anyway and I figure if I resharpened them, they're still mostly Indian made *L* Here are a few of the larger pieces. I have an bunch of small ones that are much nicer but I seem to have misplaced them in the move. Not sure about the red obsidian one. Someone may have given me that one because it looks better than mine but it was in the same box *S*.....Mel

You must have a great tallent because I saw a documentary once of someone who creates tools exactly as they were made and it didn't look easy. Kind of reminds me of Paul Newman, he believed in fixing things that were broken.
