it takes a little getting used to when you first start to cab defiantly try and use both hands to control the stone, and don't be real worried about the dop wax it seems to have a mind of its own and will just do as it pleases, usually at the worst time like when you are almost done.

Congrats!!! Got it Sat and we don't hear about it till Mon!!! I was expecting a video of the delivery!!! ;D Nice cab. How did your ittybitty buddy take care of the vibration? Well it's all downhill from here...picking up rocks everywhere (flowerbeds, parking lots, relatives, yard sales), then just taking a 'minute' to do a rub to see what they could look like and emerging from your room the same day (if your lucky). Dr Joe .

Dr. Jo: I posted this Sun, you were just late seeing it!!! Guess what else? Tony got a new saw blade and he sliced the Honduran Opal, ohhhh it is all shiny and glitzy but now I am still scared to cab it, I put it aside until this machine gets broken in!!! I also sliced the blue holly agate, very pretty!! I just don't want to ruin nice material with my newbieness!!!

Holy cow Amber, that's 180 stamps! (my daughter counted for us, lol) I sure hope they were the self stick ones, otherwise maybe that's why it took so long to send - he ran out of spit! Anyway, that's a great looking machine, and seems like a nice price too. Nate

And you think I'm funny? I could just see you going thru all that and I was getting more tickled all the time Did you burn incense before you started to grind? Check out the fung shue of the proposed set up? Offer rocks to the 4 winds? Sounds like you set up on the dragons back to me. YOu have gotten some great advice so I can only add this....breathe deep...calm yourself...learn to embrace the dirt!!! Have fun! Tony

Lo'oks like a really nice machine, Amber. After you work out the kinks, you'll be turnin' out the cabs.
I think it's really terrific the man that made it is 94! I know a couple of 94 year olds and all they do is watch TV. And if they are in some other room when it's time for The Price is Right, they will run you over getting in front of the TV before that first "Come on Down!" ;D
All those stamps! That's prettty funny!
Can't wait to see what you turn out on that baby!
