Hello, everyone! I made another groove wrap having the bail hidden by an accent stone. Amber had a great idea, to use pet wood cut against and along the grain, and that's what I did. I used two slabs of palm wood. And here's the back, less ugly than the previous one, I'd say: Thanks for looking and special thanks to Amber for the idea. Adrian

Groove Master: I like going against the grain! Excellent job!!  See what I mean? I think the contrasting pattern is interesting yet the color palette is complementary! I think the hidden bail is much neater and I think it will lay neatly when worn. Let me know if you need me to try that for ya!!!! I thought of this when I saw Tony experimenting with a piece of Curt's ghostwood, it is cool when sliced against the grain, and I thought how neat that would look when placed together; Onyx being another material that looks neat on the contrasting grain! Let me know if you need more ideas, I have lots of them, I just have trouble implementing them!!!! And this new machine is giving me fits!! Amber

This is really beautiful and that was a great idea from Amber to have a cab with the grain and against the grain.
I'm looking at the nice rounded tips of your prongs. I know this sounds nudgy but I have fits filing square wire tips so that they are rounded. Is that square wire or round wire? which ever it is, you did a great job on the filing.

Adrian that's terrific! I love the design, especially incorporating two different cuts (dots and lines) into one piece.
Nice!

I like this one a lot, Adrian. Makes me think of a spiny blowfish hanging upside down or a cute kitty -- if it had a tail.
Guess I'm seeing things again, huh? But I definitely like what I see!!! ;D

Thank you everyone! Amber, thank you for your offer but Ina already wore it and she says she likes it. So I saved you from a hard work ;D Lori, the wire I use it's round wire, 1 mm diameter. The ends of the prongs are rounded by filing. Kate, it seems like the break you took was beneffic, your visions are even more amazing now. I can almost hear that cat purr, now that you pointed it; too bad somebody cut her tail! Adrian

Excellent Result Adrian! ;D Cracking Idea Amber! ;D You two got that one bang on the money guys! The cut and polish is, as always, sublime Sir! Your stones have to be seen up close to believe the depth of shine, and the wrapping job is top-notch, I like the wee claspy contrivance, that's a neat trick indeed! The interplay of textures adds a real zing to the design Amber, that was a cool idea! The contrast really works with the softness of the colours, and as it's petrified wood, Adrian's favourite, you can guarantee the cut will be perfect! Those patterns are just beautiful. I love that design! Ever onwards and upwards Buddies! Cheers, Sparkles. It shertainly bearsh a marked shimalarity... ;D
