I have a couple pieces of magnetic hematite I'd like to cut a few slabs off but I'm not sure what kind of blade is needed. The stuff is about twice as heavy as a piece of agate of the same size. The seller was Astrogallery and they said use a diamond blade but I figured it would be better to get some opinions here before I trash a good blade. Diamond blade will work fine but some of those hematite materials seem to bog he blade down a bit so make sure the coolant is fairly clean and working well....Mel
