My wife and I did our first wire wraps today. We followed Randy's tutorial. It was kind of tedious, but I learned a lot and my subsequent attempts should be better. I think the hardest part is making the curly Q's (and not cutting the wire too short, see below ). Notice the huge loops for the necklace to fit through.... Mine, a piece of Owyhee Becky's Thanks for the tutorial Randy, Dan

Great job for both you and your wife! I'm about ready to put Randy's tutorial to use after seeing what you and others are doing on this topic. That piece of Owyhee looks almost too perfect!

Nicely done! It gets easier the more you do. Not necessarily better, in all my cases, but easier T

Wow, you and your wife did a great job on those. I think making the swirlies is the hardest part. yours flows beautifully.
Randy's tut sure is bringing out the wrapper in quite a few people.

You almost made these first wraps as perfect as you do your cabs! Isn't it good to make a piece from start to finish by your own?
They are both gorgeous, you and Becky are tallented in wrapping. That Owihee is my favorite though, the stone is magnificent!
