Thanks for sharing the results of yor experiment. I like the stone in the last pic, it looks llike a tree with a heavy frost / frozen fog on it.

Cool Batch! I try the super glue sometimes but I sure can't tell if it helps or hurts. yours look like it helped most of them.

I guess I should explain. They did turn out crack free. The super glue stayed in fine in most spots. It just did not shine up everywhere. When you use it when cabbing it gets nice and glassy, and makes the fractures/pits pretty much go away. On tumbling it worked pretty well for small fractures, not so well for pits. These first 2 pics show filled pits. They stayed filled so no more pit but no shine on the patch either.   This one I circled the filled pit (no shine). On this in the druzy looking area around the pit there were a ton of small fractures. They did shine up.  So I guess the result is: Pits - filled no shine fractures big - filled no shine fractures small - filled and good shine |

Could you buff the areas not shined up ?
You got a excelent shine on them the druzy one above is particulary interesting

I think I could buff the areas Jack but have not tried yet.
We had about 3ft of snow but lost some lately CUL-Ann. It was about +4C today. Almost had to put on shorts.
