Very nice and original wraping system! It came out beautiful, I like that, despite the rather massive silver framing, the stone is still visible almost entirely. That upper rose is perfect, it looks chaotic at first sight but the more I look, the more I like it and realise how difficult is to make it.

Thanks everybody! I'm gonna fine tune a few things.... Make the loops at the top on the back a little more uniform and clean, and try to neaten up the front top right swirls. They look better in person than in the photograph, but something isn't quite right. Thanks for all your comments!

Jo, that is a beautiful wrap and perfect for that cab. I love the rosette at the top but what I really love is the three twisted wires to the right. Did you twist them by hand or with a tool. I would also like to "copy" that if you don't mind as I never twisted three together before. I looks like fun.

Thanks, Lori. Of course you can copy! I think the three twisted wires make a nice frame for the cab. The top right swirls around the twisted wires I did primarily by hand, to keep a natural curl to the wire, then I used my tools where I couldn't get my fingers and at the end to enhance the use of space. These are the tightest swirls I've ever done, and they were tricky. I should post a pic from the right side to show it better. I also tried to copy your Kyanite Wrap. I'll post those too.

Here they are: Side view of above wrap I had lots of problems with the one I just finished, this next one. Feel that I overcame most of them, but wish I hadn't mangled the wire so much getting there. And the back Thanks for all your comments, feelings, suggestions, and everything else! Jo

Sheesh, I am SO jealous! I can hardly do just a basic, simple wrap. Those are fantastic! I really love the second one. llana

You did a great job with the last one. Just a tip about twisting the wire, the tighter twists on a length of wire tends to make that wire "behave" better.
I love that last wrap. It reminds me of the wraps I use to make before I learned how to bind the wire and create a proper bail. I call them freeform and I love the look.

Well, I modeled it after your Kyanite wrap, so it should look familiar! LOL. And the bale just would not behave. I may do the top over again, I don't know.

Thanks Tony and everyone else. Means alot, really. At least my bindings are tighter, more uniform and laying flatter with the half round. Really makes a difference! BTW, I just fixed the top of the second one. I crossed them over each other to simulate the crosses in the back. Looks alot better........... Jo

Jo, Everytime I look at one of your wraps, it is even better than the last! You have really come a long way in a very short time. You look like a pro now! Fran
