Decided to work with the Selenite I got from MichaelJohn in my last box of loot. I cut it with my WF and then carved it to a clean nugget. Used smaller wire this time. And the back Thanks in advance for your comments and thanks for lookin'....Jo

Now that is pretty cool, Jo! I like that kind of rough hewn look with the precise wire wrap. T

This is awesome, I love that it is all natural. I bet this just glimmers in the sunlight. The wrap is perfect for is. Just enough frame and embelishment to enhance the stone. You did a beautiful job

Great job Jo! I also love rough, natural materials used in wraps.

Selenite is a big seller with the spiritual crowd. The rough look is right on the money, me thinks. It's really easy to clean up. Just a toothbrush and a pocket knife. I bought the box that MJ had on sale for a while and just received it today. Wow! I may be able to polish some of it, we will see, but for the meantime, I'm gonna go with the natural look. I'll bet it would look good with gold-filled too!

That half round really makes a difference! I think I'll try wrapping a smaller piece with two wires next time.

Now that really is good fun! I love the natural feel and the gentle wrap holding it for view, the symetrical whirls near the bail are excellent and work nicely with the straight up and down fibre of the Selenite, nice design and well executed Buddy! Thanks for posting your pictures, I love seeing your wraps.
Cheers,
Sparkles.

Jo, you sure made that look beautiful! I would be afraid to use such a soft stone but it sure looks perfect there! Fran
