I tried this after seeing a picture somewhere. I can now see where improvement needs to be made, but it was fairly simple and could be a nice piece for your 'love'. This was done with 26 guage wire, which I hate and will never purchase again, but they were out of 24, which I use most of all because the smaller wire seems less cumbersome and a bit more dainty, since I like wrapping stones about the size of dimes. I added a couple of those smaller pieces here for you to check out as well. This heart is only1 1/2" tall but the thin wire makes it look larger. Plume agate that did not become a doublet- but ended up being wrapped in that goofy 26 guage wire. Montana Agate with that stupid 26 ga. wire-here is the back. Here is the front- Thanks for looking -Banjo

I love that heart, what a great Idea. I use 22g and thought that was tiny wire to work with I can't imagine working with 24 or 26 g square wire. Didn't even know square came in 26g.
Well, you sure made stupid wire look pretty.

Nice work Banjo! I like the dainty plume wrap best. I think it will look best worn over black, like your first pic.
