Hi all... I thought I'd share a few photo's of the gift I'm giving my girlfriend for Valentine's day... I made the Montana Moss agate cab, but since I know about as much about wire wrapping as I do about brain surgery, I took my cab to a friend to wrap it. She owns a bead shop, and she sells some of my cabs also... I was VERY pleased with the job she did on my cab...

That's a great looking cab, and she is going to be thrilled, by what I can see. You have a good eye.

Gorgeous cab, and the heart shaped curls at the top of the pendant makes it very suitable for a V-day present. I bet she will love it.

Wow .... that is beautiful!!! She will love it ...
I have a question .... the twisted wire ... is that something the woman did with the wire or is that a type of wire you can buy?
Again .... thanks to all

Thanks everybody...I think she will like it, she made several comments about how much she liked the round cab while I was working on it, so that's why I chose that one...and I couldn't be more pleased with the wire wrap my friend did for me....
I have no idea about the twisted wire, I didn't ask her....I know absolutely nothing about wire wrapping, (but I want to learn) so maybe somebody here who does wrap can answer that question for you....

The cab you did is beautiful and I love the color. You friend did a wonderful job wrapping it. You wife is going to love it.
Mynewhobby, the twisted wire is done by the person doing the wrapping. It is usually done with a pin vice especially if it is only a section of the wire within the wrap that the wrapper wants twisted. There may be twisted wire sold commercially, I am not sure.
