Well it took a lot of convincing, but after riding on the back of mine for a year, and watching the Grandkids riding theirs, Sharri finally agreed last summer that she needed a ride of her own. She didn't want to spend much (and we didn't have alot to spend) I found 2 old 84 Suzuki junkers and took the best parts of each and built her one. It took awhile to strip it down and clean and paint and such, but last fall I finally got it done. Then we had to go through the registration process. Utah didn't do titles for them back then so we did the bureaucratic shuffle for awhile and got police inspections and all. Finally yesterday we went to the DMV and walked out with her stickers and registration. Now if we would get some spring around here and get rid of this snow she'll be ready to go. ;D ;D ;D Thse pictures were taken before the weather got bad. Yes, she named it Doris. I have no idea why.

You did a VERY nice job of building Sharri's ride! The only part that does not look new, is the seat cover. You did good for her for sure. I just wish those quads would fit on the trails where I go! Woody

I had my mother do the seat in some old vinyl she had left over from an old upholstery job she did before her and Dad closed their shop. We put extra thick foam on the seat because those old Suzuki's didn't have ANY suspension. This makes it alot easier on Sharri's tush and we all know that we have to make the wife comfy so we can keep doing the things we like. ;D If she has fun, then we can do more rock trips.

That's a beauty, she'll be able to go anywhere you do. They're a lot of fun, I sure love mine....Bob
