Been stretching my skillbuilding abilities working with smaller stones and smaller wire (22 ga). Wanted to share these three. Showing fronts, then backs. Green Moonstone. Stone is 1 1/2" high and 3/4" wide. Orange Jasper (Local Find). Called this my Orange Tiger Rock. 1 3/8" x 3/4". Moss Agate (Local Find). 1 1/4" x 3/4" wide. Still working out kinks (literally, LOL) Thanks for all your impressions, comments, suggestions and critiques. And... it's those atta-girls that propel me onward! Huggs!.........Jo

Those look awesome! One suggestion, I just started using half-round wire yesterday for my binding wraps. You won't believe the difference. Get some and try it!

Thanks Adrian, the cab has an elegant feel to it. I fixed the third loop on the bottom to match the other two above it, after seeing the pics. Taking these up-close pics really helps one refine a piece and perfect one's skills. LOL. Randy's gonna help me straighten out my binding deficiency. I'm gonna video myself, post it on Google Video and send him the link. Isn't technology the awesome-est! Will keep you posted on my progress. Jo

Thanks Bob. Well, after working with Randy to figure out what I need to do. Here's what we came up with (posting this because someone else may benefit) Using half-hard, half-round for the binding. I was using dead-soft and it's too soft. Making sure the tape is tight helps keep things neat. Nylon coated tools or duck tape helps keep wire from getting mangled.
