This is quartz with lazulite, kyanite and pyrite wrapped in sterling silver.

I just got some of that in one of the PIF auctions,( thanks to Kap) and it is my new favorite rock!! It came from Graves Mtn, in GA! I love the blue in that stuff!!

Very nice! I had the same idea this past week. I am now in the process of doing the State of Utah with each county in a stone. I'd like to have a rock that came out of each county...but I don't have that kind of time. I may ask my rock club for help. I'll post pictures of the frame that I already have done. Steve

That is really cool and a neat idea. Are you doing all the states? Your wraps are great, just enough boarder for the shape.
