Yep, I was serious about that. lol.... I'm half-blind now, y'all are hard on an old man! ;D Anyhow, I took some progressive pics on this one, it's green quartz from my dentist's receptionist. (honest) Here, you can see the bail that I've shrunken considerably.... I narrowed the swirlies at the top, and used a variation of the first wrap in the other thread..... And a variation of the bottom in the second wrap from the other thread, notice how much the entire wrap shrunk..... I'm blind now. lol.... Here's the back.... This was fun! ;D All comments and opinions are welcome, thanks for looking!

I only gave my opinion that I love your wraps cause I do love your wraps. They are very pleasing to the eye. but I read everyone elses suggestions to you and wish to offer an opinion.
Looking at both the wraps together, the longer bail on the wrap to the left conforms more with the vertical pattern of the stone. So I like the longer bail for that stone.
Where the cab on the right has a horizontal suggestion to it, the more compact wire wrapping is perfect for that stone.
The progression pics are fun to look at also.

Lori's got the ticket! Wow, I'm amazed at how small you are working. No wonder you're going blind. LOL. You're really working your wraps with the character of the cabs.

Lori- I hadn't thought of that and since you mention it, you're right!! I'll definitely be paying more attention to the patterns now You already do. You have that creative talent and you have done so many, it is just something that becomes automatic. You know Randy, this was kind of neat what you did, making another design with the suggestions. With the two side by side, it brought to light exactly why I do like the wrap on the left. I love, love, love that little one also and now I know why.

Yeah and you're going to get it done in two shakes of a rooster's tail. Where's that green faced smiley? ;D Hey Randy, I swapped from half hard silver to dead soft, now it only takes me 1 day to make a wrap instead of 3 days :help:

Beautifully done! You must have a spell to your fingers that you are able to bend the wire so perfect.

Way to wrap Randy-we're going to have to start calling you "rappin'randy"! Thanks for taking the time to take pics of the process-very helpful! I really like the way you finish off the backs-it looks really neat and secure.
Keep 'em comin'!
