Hey, does anyone know the hardness of their square wire? It doesn't say if it's dead soft, and if I'm going to give this a try, I want dead soft square! And will I do OK with half-hard half round 20 gauge and 21 gauge square (assuming it is dead soft) thanks! Amy

Amy, I checked with them. They only carry half hard and dead soft, so they said if it's not labeled half hard, it'll be dead soft!
Also, I generally use 22g dead soft for my wraps, but it's really a personal preference. Of their selection of half-round wire left, I'd go with 20g definitely.

I like their price on the gold filled square. 15' is $35. This is a good price isn't it?

Seems to be better than Rio Grande right now. I just ordered some sterling wire from Thunderbird this AM. Just watch Thunderbird's "cut fee". It can add anywhere from $1 to $15 and eat up all your savings. It said that up to 5 cuts per order is free, but I didn't see where that was applied. Also, Thunderbird's least expensive shipping is twice that of Rio Grande, and they make you buy insurance.
Just what I noticed and my input. Jo

Just curious. Why would you order your wire "cut" into lengths? I'm a newbie....

I get it in 15 lengths because, for me, it's easier to store. It really doesn't have to be cut. You can get it any length you want.

I don't normally get my wire cut, but I do get my silver sheet cut.

Compare prices with MonsterSlayer. I keep looking around at various prices and shipping and I always seem to end up with MonsterSlayer. Maybe it is just a built up personal preference. I did buy some stuff with RioGrande, but went back to MonsterSlayer. Tony
