I finished this one just now. I did the swirleys at the top just a hair bigger than the last one. This is as small as I can get them and still have a nice smooth flow. Also, I twisted more wire on this one, I like it but would like to hear more opinions on this.... too fancy or too cool? ;D Thanks for looking!

Thanks John! I have three more cabs from the same stone that I'll be wrapping as well, they're some of my favorite cabs.

ha, it's innate with you, the twists conform great with the rippled effect of the banding in the cab. Were you thinking of that??? If not, your eye probably saw it and just told your fingers to go. and even though the top bends and swirls are high, they are more elongated than fat or wide which also complements how the banding in the stone bends slightly upwards. Any other opinion from me would be of personal taste and that shouldn't play into constructive opinion. The pendant is gorgeous and that cab is just WOW.

Thanks Lori, you sure do know how to write! ... I just start bending the wire and go with whatever takes shape, and I'm basically stuck with the end result. ;D lol Amber- here's a good example of a fortification, this is from the tumbling forum.....

Randy, i like the twisted wire ,it compliments the stone and sets it off nicely. I am new to this and all but what I notice on not just yours but alot of wraps is a V taper (make a peace sign and most of them would fit in) and that is what I think gives it symmetry And balance. Wikipidea Symmetry generally conveys two primary meanings. The first is an imprecise sense of harmonious or aesthetically-pleasing proportionality and balance; such that it reflects beauty or perfection. The second meaning is a precise and well-defined concept of balance or "patterned self-similarity" that can be demonstrated or proved according to the rules of a formal system. I think this what you have..Good job as always..John
