Way to go! Welcome to the East wing, we've been waiting for you. ;D Mynewhobby, that is a great first wrap. I love what you did at the top. Your bail bindings look good and the wrap looks nice and tight against the stone. One suggestion would be to do one small curl on each wire end in the back. I've been meaning to tell you that your posts make me laugh out lound.

Sitnwrap .... thank you for the input about the wrap .... I need all the input I can get ...
The curlies on the back .... I thought about it .... then let that idea go .... I was grateful that I at least came close to finishing it ... I let it be finished ...
If you look closely (I just saw this now), I did not make the loop at the top big enough to put through even the smallest chain ... woof
I guess this will be my signature piece ... ;D

Another DUH question ....
What's the bail binding? Is that the wrapping wire itself?
As always

Figured out what to do with this one ...
Gave it to my neighbor .... Bonnie ... the one with all the rocks ...
She is going to figure out how to use it as a pendulum.
I am glad now that I made it out of silver.
Whoop!!!

look great Julie ;D!!! Amber took the words right out of my mouth...all that fussin' for nuttin' !!!! I've found that you just have to work with the wire.... you can't force it too much ( hell, who am I to give tips, I've only done a few myself ). I thought the loop at the top looked small.... the top of my petrified wood wrap was small too, but I gave it to my step brother who used a low E bass string to make a neclace ( he plays bass in a band ), looks too cool, I'll have to get a pic.... anyway..... great job.... Randy has converted another one Chris

YOU DID IT! ;D Now the first is behind you, it gets a little easier. Well, unless you are like me and all fumble fingers...I will post later and show what I mean. I went with the half hard silver this time and boy, I am having a problem making it do what I want. Seems like it is much harder than it should be but I am gonna make it behave yet! I think this one looks good and I am looking forward to the next! Fran
