I have 7 beautiful butterflies that Steve Holmes sent me to wrap. Now I can wrap all 7 but we thought it would be fun to offer some of these beauties for others to wrap. Once all the wrappers are done and the butterflies have finished morphing, they will be set free and either offered in a competition open to all members, or if a PIF is going on, auctioned for that benefit. The competition will NOT involve which wrap is best. Wrappers are collaborating to get a FUN and UNUSUAL competition started. The wrap can be however you make it to be. There is at least one butterfly, maybe two, that I think is thick enough for a groove wrap (just at 5mm).. Steve had glued the wings on all of them and can be wrapped like that but if you want, I can take the glue off with acetone. I am in the process of wrapping one now and for someone who loves to wrap, this is a lot of fun! If you would like to join, please pm me with your addy and I will send one of these beauties to you. Here are the butterflies: Thanks for reading and I hope you decide to participate . Lori

Ha! Understanding that I go crazy with wire, send one off to me too! Looks like fun! Small ocher colored one, if I can choose! Or the smaller one with the green body, I think will stand out against the copper wire colors. What a design challenge!

Dee, glad to see you, I've been missing your wraps. would love to see some of them posted. I can send either. so I'll send the orcra unless you prefer the green. pm your addy to me.
Mynewhobby, if you would like to try, go for it. This is not a contest of wrapers, its a consolidated effort of wrappers to provide prizes for a contest or a PIF if there is a need. Flex those muscles and say the word and a b fly will be on the way!

I'd like to give one a try if you still have any left. Looking at the pic, the one on the far right bottom looks interesting. But I'd try whatever you have. Tigger

Thanks Ronda, I figure that they could all be done in about a month. That should give everyone enough time but the contest wont start until they are all back. Also, I will be pming my addy to all the wrappers so they can send the wraps bacik. I want to take a group pic of them for the contest. Ok, only two more butterflies left.

The two that are left are in the bottom row. The large one I believe is thick enough for a groove wrap (5 mm thick) if a groove wrapper would like to participate. and that little one is just so sweet so if anymore wrappers want to participate, please let me know.
The rest went out in the mail yesterday.
Thank you
Randy, Chris, Tonja, Ronda, and Dee for taking one. These butterflies will be done just in time for spring!
