Here's another, from the cabbing machine straight to the wire. The slab in the first pic is special to me, it was a gift from krazydiamond at least two years ago. I had been saving it until I figured out something worthy to do with it. I decided to do two wraps for Cathy, one in gold and one in silver. Tonight I did the gold one, check it out! ..... Here's the slab with the two cabs marked out..... After a visit to the Genie..... And here she is in gold filled wire, I'm actually excited about this one..... Thanks for looking!!

That is very very beautiful. It looks like a flame with the bottom curls as a base and remindes me a little like the older candle holders with a glass globe. That really is a special kind of beautiful.

Wow nice! Gotta love them bots. I think I'd have been tempted to cut one big full face teardrop cab. That whole cut was a beauty!.....Mel

Awesome Randy, you do some incredible work with stone!!!! I'm not familiar with many types of stone, but botswana agate is one I do know and one of my favorites.... great work, and thanks again for getting me into all this ( thanks to everyone else too, but honestly, without Randy's tutorial I never even would have considered it )

WOW!
Just WOW!
I can't believe how beautiful that is - it looks like those marbles we had as kids! so much depth!
Is that cab from the left side of the slab? What a transformation!
I'm speechless *more or less* :cheesy:

Yep, left side. I was going to do two or three wraps tonight, but I still feel like cabbing. I just finished 7 cabs, they'll all get wrapped. My goal is 50 wraps minimum before the first craft show, I'm alreadt half way there!! I have until the end of May, that's enough time to do 100!! ;D
