OK, I finally did it! I got some dead soft square 22 gauge and some half hard half round 20 gauge, and I did it! ;D This is a cab made for me by spikeict, from material from redwoodrocks' gift exchange box to me 2 years ago. The material is called quantum quattro. "It is a combination of shattuckite (royal blue), chrysocolla (robin's egg blue), dioptase (forest green), malachite (light green) with smoky quartz all combined in one swirling mix of colors. This unusual stone is found in Nambia, Africa" according to one web site. Anyway, here it is! Many thanks to bikerrandy, wirewrapperjim, rocknwrap, and everyone else who has inspired me with their work! There are things I will try differently next time, such as doing my side bindings before my bends. I also need to sand my tools. But I'm proud of my first attempt! Hope you like it. Amy

Sorry, I know the stone now. Let that be a lesson in just "looking at pictures" first!

Very nice wrap! For your first wrap, it is awesome! The more you do, the easier it becomes. Your back looks alot like mine. I have a hard time figuring out how to tie the wires nice and neat. I have been watching everyone elses wraps and trying to learn the technique of ending the wires. I always thought they had to be attached to hold the stone in, but after seeing Randys style, I've started to learn alternatives to ending and attaching the ends.
Keep going, your on a roll!!

Ho yeah! WTG Amy!
That's a great wrap, I love the stone too! The colour is so rich and the wrap contrasts it beautifully. The bail loops look graceful and flowing, and the wrap looks neat and tidy, very nice work Buddy! I really can't wait to see more! You've got the talent! Thanks for sharing your wrap, and congratulations!
Cheers,
Sparkles.

Dang you can wrap dog! (picture Randy Jackson from American Idol) lol That is fantastic for a first attempt, or even 10th.
