Aside from doing some rockhounding (which almost led to the demise of the rental car suspension) ;D I did some wire wrapping. I did, Jo did, Cathy did and even Bill (Jo's man). Anyhow, check it out...... This is Cathy's first time ever. (randysgal) Now I will say that I did do the swirls at the top and very bottom (because after a few tasty alcoholic beverages, she couldn't finish) but she did everything up to that point all by herself. Look closely at how tight the bindings are and how symmetrical both sides of the cage (?) are. I'm gonna have her do another sometime this week from start to finish. Anyhow, it's amethyst sage agate in gold, check it out! ..... Here are four of the ones that I did....... This is an unknown that I cut from a slab that Roxy sent me a while ago.... I'm not 100% sure, but I think that this is opalized wood..... Cobra tiger jasper from Brazil (ebay) Another Amethyst sage agate, and becoming one of my favorite rocks....

I have never seen anyone so completely master a specific art like you have Randy. Your wraps are truly amazing (honest). Everyone else's first attempts (including those on the board) are due to your teaching ability and tutorial. You are really an asset and great friend to all here.

Your wrapping style is so ellegant, and all of those pendants came out beautiful. The cobra tiger is my favorite.

Way to go Cathy! That is beautiful wire work. Now you wont have to ask him to make them for you. As soon as you see a cab you like you can just scoop it and wire it up yourself.
I've been thinking along the same lines as Shannon. You have done a wonderful thing for those just learning to wrap or wanted but didn't try until they saw your tutorial and all the coaching you have done to help them out.
As always this group of wraps are wonderful. I think I like the unknown best just because the colors are really neat.

OMG Randy-gorgeous as always. Great job Cathy-I love that amethyst sage. I've gotta ask-what are you doing with all of these? Have you been successful in the sales area, or is that even your goal? All of your cabs are always so perfect. Just gotta say wow-you've come a long way since your vibe tumbling, glue on bail days! KJ

You remember all that? lol.... You remember that upside-down skillsaw? ;D I'm actually gearing up for the summer craft shows. My goal is to start the first show with 1,000 vibe pendants (still do those) and 100 wire wraps. I'll be half-way on the wire wraps probably by the end of next week. I'm gonna knock out a few more today.

I had the privilege of seeing two of these things made and I learned a few things along the way. These are much prettier in person, trust me.

Randy's cabs are so super shiny!!! They really don't even need a wrap everyone is as shiny as the other, doesn't matter what material, and the backs are flawless and smooth as well, they really impressed me.
