Would you please move those coves a wee bit closer to Washington? I do not think I could make eight trips up and down that cliff any more. It makes me tired just reading about you doing that, but then thirty years ago I would have thought little of doing so, especially if the first dive had been as good as yours this trip. Your haul looks as good as a good day in the sixties would have been. BTW, that small round ball looks like very nice jade. Woody

Do you also find Guinnes in the ocean? ;D
Beautiful rocks and your rockhound trips are the wildest ones! It's also great to be able to spot a rock and leave it there, being sure you will find it next time.

That is just so cool! That round one is so pretty, and I can definitely see some bright green/blue poking through the rind on the bigger one.

Glad you were able to get out and do some Jade Diving today Tony. From the looks of it...the Jade Gods treated you very well. Be sure to post pics as you polish the big ones....and that round one looks almost already polished. THANKS! Steve

You had to tease us East Coasters with all that sunshine and ocean!!! Wow, that little ball is really cool, and that plate jade looks like it has really neat colors in it!!! Very cool stuff there!!I need a can of Guinness for my corned beef and cabbage! Tell me that isn't as offensive as scrapple?

Very nice trip! Gorgeous scenery, lovely jade. I see the blues and greens poking through the mystery piece as well.
How deep do you normally have to go for the jade?

Woody - you need to relive your youth and make another trip. There is still jade to be found.
Amber - you got it right, Guinness is for St Paddy's day! Being half Irish it was our annual party this weekend, and as you guessed it corned beef and cabbage. I suppose some 12 year old Jamison was mixed in as well:)
Rhonda - This time of year I usually hit the shallows. with the winter swells it really exposes the jade near shore. As summer comes around I hit the deeper areas and hit the caves. Summer is usually calmer because the kelp grows in and buffers the waves. The only drawback is that the White sharks are on the hunt. As long as one keeps their eyes open and hug the bottom it's all good.

You kill us when you show off what you've found diving. We are dying to get out there and dive with you!
