I did a few wraps this weekend, and figured I'd put them all in one post this time ... so, here they are for you viewing pleasure ... This first one was for a friend, she picked the stone, dyed quartz I do believe, and I wrapped it up for her....(notice that with a few bends here and there it would look like a butterfly? I've got butterflies on the brain ;D!!! ) ...and the back.... Second.... ever since I gave my stepbrother my pet wood piece I have wanted to do another one for me, so I did, and here it is.... ... and the back.... And finally.... Check it out I bought some different wire... Copper ( Still not gold or silver... some day )!!! Boy is it soft, I was afraid I was going to beat the hell out of it with my tools, but it came out pretty well. And the design is pretty much the same as the second wrap I did, I like this look for some reason.... the stone is some river rock I tumbled.... .... and the back, which almost looks as good as the front ... Also, I have a bonus.... An electrician friend of mine started playing with some of the copper wire and made this.... lol .... looks like we have someone else hooked on wrapping , I mean really, his binding are nice and tight ;D!!!! Hope I didn't bore anyone with this long post.... and thank you as always for looking... Chris

That's copper? Did you polish it? It looks great, and the wraps look sweet! Your use of binding wraps gives me an idea, but I won't be able to try it out yet. (ran out of wire last night) ;D Keep on wrapping and keep on posting!

Well done, they are beautiful. Love teh copper pieces. Did you get the copper from your electrician friend? I have used some of that in my jewelry. Tami

WOW great job!
I like how it looks like a hand is grabbing that pet wood - and the back looks like someone is hugging (or lugging around) the pet wood ;D
The last wrap is beautiful and I agree with Randy, it sure is shiny - if it tarnishes and you don't want it to be tarnished, lemon juice does the job

These are all just beautiful. The copper looks great and I love ALL of them. That pet wood is just so unusual and you did a great job on the prongs. I love the wire work on the third one, and you definitely have a butterfly design hidden in that first one. Your friends stick man would make a really cool set of earrings. Do you mind if I "borrow" that idea?

Thanks as always everyone!!!! now... for some responces.... Randy... Well, the package said copper ( I bought it at hobby lobby ), and it feels like copper, but I agree...It looks crazy shiny and bright, I'm thinking it may have a little nickel in it it fight corrosion ( I hope no green skin, but then again, I won't be wearing it ) Whatever it is... I like it!! creativeminded... Nope, got it from Hobby Lobby. I'm also an electrician, so there is no shortage of 14 ga and larger around here , but that is the last thing I want to play with after a day at work... lol Tweetiepy... Ha!!!I didn't even notice that.... it looks like a littke skeleton is holding it from the top, wrist and all!!! sitnwrap... the prongs are a pain to get just right, just enought to hold it firmly. And borrow all you want Lori, I don't mind at all...
